Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages

Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages was founded in May 1983, as a result of merging several schools, colleges, and higher education centers, such as School of Translation, College of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages, Damavand College, and Iran Research Centre. It started its educational and research activities with the aim of providing credible instruction in Humanities and Social Sciences. Presently, the Faculty has 2368 students at Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels. Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages and Faculty of Theology and Islamic Knowledge are located in the same campus.
